Formulated with advanced bioceramic technology, BIO-VION exhibits excellent flow characteristics, allowing deep penetration into lateral canals, accessory canals, and dentinal tubules. Its moisture-activated setting reaction leverages the natural moisture within dentin to initiate and complete the setting process, eliminating technique sensitivity and ensuring consistent results.
BIO-VION demonstrates high alkalinity (pH >12), contributing to its antibacterial properties and supporting a biologically favorable environment for periapical healing. The material is bioactive, encouraging the formation of hydroxyapatite at the sealer–dentin interface, which enhances long-term sealing integrity and tissue compatibility. Being non-shrinking and non-resorbable, it maintains dimensional stability over time, ensuring the longevity of obturation.
